Hi there! My name is Megan Carter, and I am currently a student studying Graphic Design & Media Arts at Southern New Hampshire University. I also work in retail at Target as the Guild Program will help me graduate debt-free.
Many of my friends and family would describe me as easy-going and bubbly. They commend me for my discipline and persistence. I have always valued creativity and artistic expression. When I am not working, I am enjoy reading, listening to music, taking pictures, playing with my cats, and critiquing screen media with my Husband.
Ever since a young age, I have been interested in Graphic Design. In middle school, I received my first computer and would spend my free time watching video tutorials on how to use free programs to create designs. I enjoyed creating social media banners and profile pictures to give to my family and friends. When I was around 14 years old, I received my first camera from a family friend who ran a Drama Club. In return, I took pictures of the cast at the performances, and created digital media advertisements for them to post on Facebook. I am proud to say that I have improved greatly since then. I am always advancing my skills and working hard to learn new ones.
